Intranet

As foundation Intranet Web Developer and Project Manager, I was part of the four-person team that built the organization's internal site from the ground up. This included:

  • Conducting interviews and focus groups prior to the design process
  • Strategizing the information architecture and design
  • Creating design options
  • Building templates
  • Supervising and participating in the build phase
  • Developing a searchable staff directory with photos
  • Developing a content management system for updating the site after launch.

Web site

Also called in to develop applications for the foundation's external site, I designed and built several Web forms to gather data from grant applicants and grantees including:

  • Washington State School Grant application
  • Washington Achievers grant application
  • Web forms for gathering information from Library program grantees
  • Prototype for a generic grant inquiry form.

I was also involved in the initial planning stages for the Web site redesign.

Comments

Carrie played a major role in the design and structure of our new intranet. Her artistic skills and attention to detail are valued by all who worked with her at the foundation. She is thoughtful and professional, a real pleasure to have on our team.
